I am a GoDaddy reseller and this is the login url that I give "my" customers. First, I have no control over this site. It is GoDaddy's site. It is certainly not hosting adware, or malware. Even if their customers were hosting bad stuff, you won't be exposed to it here. Sure, I am biased, but I have many years of good experience with them overall.

They are not the right webhost for everyone, but their 24x7 customer service is hard to beat, especially in this price range. Hosting URL redirects for phishing scams so not obviously very interested in doing much about this 'service'. I've never had any problems with the site. I don't get unrequested email, etc. While the end user can absolutely create malicious content, that is not necessarily the fault of the domain.

Emails sent to this address will not be answered. Ah — if you attempted to change your domain registration information, you would have received those emails. Did it look similar to this?

Funnily enough, yes. So the email is legitimate, but not from WordPress.
